Hi again. Well, I’m very excited this week as we have finally got round to putting my new logo at the top of the blog there. For those of you who have been receiving my blog via email, you will have already seen it so I hope the rest of you like it too!

Here’s a question for you: What do you think the 3 horse heads represent in terms of my Method? Or what do they mean to you? I would love to hear your thoughts so please post them in Comments. Thanks ;o)

I have only recently discovered your website and it is incredible. I have read all of Clause Hempflings books and the natural way of working with my horse has always been a dream to me which I haven’t been able to achieve yet. I am going to order Naked Liberty and Waterhole rituals to bring me closer to my dream. I especialy can’t wait for your Complete Method DVD Series.

Your new logo is wonderful and it is exactly the way that I can see my horse and I progressing in our relationship. The horse at the bottem is withdrawn and shut down because he isn’t understood and because he is being forced to do everything. The horse in the middel is starting to come into his own. Finaly the horse at the top has been set free because he is understood and because he understands. He is collected , proud and free to be a horse in the company of a human who has walked the same path as he has and who has changed and evolved as he has. In the end it is as the old Bedouin proverb goes “Alas two hearts live in his breast”.

Thank you Caroly for truely being an inspiration and proof that dreams can become reality.

    Yours sincerely

Hi – I am enjoying your articles. thank you for all that you are doing.
My perseption of the three horse heads is:

Top head – Horse is tense, excited about what is to happen next – should he go or stay is what he is thinking….

Middle head – He as decided to linger alittle longer, curious, more trusting, going to check things out, investigate, He is slowly letting go of some tension

Bottom Head – Horse is compliant, accepting what is being offered to him, willing to go to next level, ears are loped back and thinking, he is digesting information and can move body in a relaxed manner and steady rhythm, his eyes are soft, he feels safe and comfortable

thanks for letting me give my input!!!

My first impression of your logo was three different disciplines/activities/moments with horses. For example, the first horse with head held high could be working at liberty, or an arabian in a native attire class; the second horse with head a little lower could be a stock horse or in a western pleasure class, or just completed a dressage competition, and the third horse could be a cutting horse, or a horse claiming their territory from another horse, etc.
To me the logo communicates that your work is an ideal foundation for everything that one can do with a horse . . . and for everything that horses do.

    Hi Carolyn,
To me, your logo defines the three personalities of a horse. The top one is that of a lead horse–confident, proud, and insightful. The horse in the center is more submissive and is timid in nature. The one on the bottom has flat ears, which to me is a sign of dominance and defiance. Boy, do I ever know a horse like that one….

    Hi Carolyn,
the logo reminded me of the beautiful scene from the Lord of the Rings when Arwen invokes the river to protect wounded Frodo and herself and the river runs powerfully down the valley as horses…

Stina is referring to the horses I helped her coach via email. By the way, Stina helps run a wonderful school in St.Vincent (http://www.richmondvaleacademy.org) for HUMANA People to Peoples projects in Mozambique, Malawi and South Africa. Stina and I could not get together so I coached her and her horses entirely by email and I look forward to telling you more about our journey together in due course.

Ah, so it’s about working with the reality of what is, as opposed to working with the fantasy of what is. ;-)

    Hi Carolyn,

My friend Vicki enthusiastically spoke about your work and forwarded your web site address. So, this is my very first time visiting your website.

I love the logo and as I am not yet familiar with your books and videos, my comments will be more instinctive than educated.
The middle/top horse is free, proud and yet engaged. He lets you enter his world and is willing to come into yours but he demands respect. This is the type of horse I dream to know.
The bottom/forefront one is wild and fighting to keep his God given independence, he does not want to interact or be submitted and yet still commands respect.
The last one/background looks resigned. When compared to the others, he seems to have lost part of what makes him a Horse. He could be very well trained, or broken or perhaps even happy but it does not matter, he seems to have lost his identity.

I am looking for ward to reading your book.

PS: I love the picture of you and the horse in your Bio section.

    Hi Carolyn,

I love your logo and to me it speaks the process of your method. The one horse is angry and challenging, the second horse appears to be accepting and third interested and alert. So you begin the process with a horse who’s fearful and uncertain of you, work with the horse through to a level of acceptance of your being the “lead mare” or at least a herd member to finally reach a level of trust and willingness and desire to work with you.
