What people are saying about Carolyn…

From a Kim McElroy eCard sent to Carolyn from Virginia

You’re an Inspiration! There are people who come into our lives and help guide us along our journey in life. Thank you for being one of them. One of the most important ones!

You have awakened my awareness and reminded me of the world I must be a part of ….horses. I wouldn’t be the same person today without you. I know someday that I will be able to give others what you have given to me. Please know words can not express how thankful I am.

Through your teachings I uncovered the woman I always was and will always be!

Love, Virginia

Paul & Dorothy Straw

Carolyns’ teaching has given my horses the voice I always wanted them to have and the relationship I was searching for.

Leanne Tindal

I took my boundaries down entirely with Tannis and she showed me just who she was as a result. It was like I suddenly had access to ALL her spirit/soul/whatever you want to call it, and it was absolutely gorgeous.

Bitja Gardson shares her experiences on the Insider Circle Program learning the Waterhole Rituals.

Joanne Titman

Building confidence in both myself and my horse and having the relationship with him I never thought I would.

Denise Rodriguez

The joy I share with Mari is profound, and through the time we have been together I am more conscious of the different levels we have journeyed through, and very much look forward to maintaining our progress (irrespective of speed) with each passing day.

Carol La Corte talks about she found Carolyn and what attracted her to take Carolyn’s Insider Circle Program and the benefits she and her horses have experienced from it.

Farah Dejohnette

It has clearly deeped my understanding and connection with my horses and it is fun!

Jane Leadsham

I personally am far more tolerant and patient, being encouraged to let go of goals has been a real revelation when one works in a goal orientated world. I no longer feel cross when things don’t seem to go in the direction I think they should I just try to understand why and how I need to rethink the way I am doing something.

Amanda Myers‘s colt, Lucero (Morning Star) was featured in Carolyn’s first Insider Circle class. Here, Amanda talks about what Lucero was like before and how he has changed in a very short time

Rathel Gincig

My training of my 3 year old colt is hardly different than my 3 year old dog. The colt seems to hang on every word. I see the power of the connection, and am more aware of when it is broken, and restoring it rather than forcing a response.

Stephanie Brinkman

I have been involved with various forms of “Natural Horsemanship” over the past 12 years. And while it may have had tidbits of applicable information I always felt there was a huge hole in what it presented. I always felt my horses were being made to do things and their opinions were not always an option. But it wasn’t until I learned about you and your methods that I was I able to start seeing and feeling what I was missing. My horses are happier and I’m sure grateful that I’m beginning to have an understanding of them for who they truly are.

Cutting Horse World Champion Shelly Martin relates how she met Carolyn and how much fun she had working with Carolyn training PRE Andalusian stallion, Panadero, who appears on 2 of Carolyn’s DVDs.

Lynn Scott

With my riding horse my relationship has improved in terms of bond and trust and this is great.

Susan Amundson

I haven’t ridden much at all this summer because I’m having too much fun on the ground, and that is just fine. My horses don’t mind it either, and they are better under saddle when we do ride.

Linda talks about the benefits she received by participating in the Self Realization through the Waterhole Rituals 2008.

    Hola Carolyn,

Me parece fantástico el trabajo que realizas. Aún no he leído tu libro pues recientemente acabo de conocer tu trabajo.

      Hi Carolyn,
I think the work you do is fantastic. I have not read your book yet, I just learned about your work recently. If it exists in spanish, I will read it very soon. I am sorry I am writing to you in spanish, but unfortunately I don´t speak english and I have used a translator to fill out the forms and to read the mail you have sent me. I live in Valencia, Spain. About 6 years ago we decided to have horses at home and this has changed my life. For them to be better off, we moved to a house with more land and they live their at liberty with stables they can enter if they want shelter and to eat.
I have had 2 fillies that were born at our place and even though I believe we have a bond and that they trust me, I need some guidelines to affirm our friendship and to be able to communicate with them.
Right now there is 6 of us, 2 grown up horses, one mare, 2 fillies (2 and 3 years old) and myself. I need to learn to communicate with them and I have lots to learn.
Thank you for everything and congratulations for your marvelous work

My horse is a great friend of mine. he is very smart and does what I ask of him; sometimes without asking. He already knows what I’m asking for. Though he can be stubborn, he sure is good at what he knows. I like playing with new things. He always remembers. where we have been. Dakota, has come such along way, since I got him. Thankyou carolyn for teaching me to wait. I am always thinking about the wait. I love the surprise.

I want to thank you Carolyn from the bottom my heart for being one of the few people to advocate for the horses. It is so sad how even new “methods” that come along claiming to develop a new partnership and awareness with horses turn into the same dominance race relationship that the horse puts up with (or doesn’t).
I feel so elated when I find people who are really on the right track for horses, and even more so, people who don’t force a prescribed training plan on people, allowing the opportunity to use their own knowledge and judgment. People, like horses, need to be free to think and explore for themselves, not handed the answer.
Your book was so beautiful, how magical a journey you have had. It continues to inspire me every day.
    Keep up the awesome work!

Thank you Carolyn for the inspiration!

I am fairly new to the horse world, about 4 years now and 18 months ago I was given a horse which I truly believe is an absolute blessing and a gift from God.

Mr T is a Saddler x rescue with a sad past and up to now we have been under tuition from different methods…..but now, last month, I took my power back and made the decision to move myself and Mr T to a place of our own which we can share.

I now can see him daily and have taken over his care and management in all aspects. That in itself is new and exciting and the bond is already starting to strengthen, it is but a week now since he arrived.

He has always had back issues and is extremely sensitive and my intuition screams loud at me that it would not be good to even try and ride him. I have been watching your blod daily but feel our journey is only just beginning with liberty and I now watch your blog in anticipation.

I am unknowingly, doing a few of the moves already, it is sort of natural….so it can only improve from hereon.

I need all the help I can get as he is a clever and eager student and very willing to please. I think he is a lot of steps ahead of me already so I am currently his student.

Exciting times ahead! Thank you for sharing with us.

I found the testimonials to be very inspiring and challenging. It made me reflect on what was my ultimate purpose with working with horses. For me it truly comes to the relationship, about building and strengthening trust and respect. It has given me much to think about.
