New Liberty Training Clinic
Jul 27th, 2010 by Carolyn Resnick Method
Hi. I’m delighted to tell you about another workshop on my Method that’s taking place in September near Santa Rosa, about an hour and half north of San Francisco. The workshop features my dear friend and long time student, Robin Gates.
I’ve known Robin for more years that either of us would care to mention and I am really proud to have her represent my work, she is a phenomenal horsewoman. If you are anywhere near northern California in early September, I really recommend you go along to the clinic, especially if you can’t get down to me. If you want to bring your own horse, you’d better get in touch quickly as I know she only has a limited number of those places available. I personally love to watch Robyn at work and so even if you only go along to audit, I know you will benefit hugely from seeing Robin in action. If you never seen her train before, I can guarantee it will be beyond your expectations.
Details of how to book are on the flyer below, which you can see in a larger size if you click on it.
For those of you in the Insider Circle either this year or from last year, we are just finalizing the ongoing support programs for you and hope to tell you all about them in the next couple of weeks.
I look forward to speaking with you on Thursday.
Carolyn

Carolyn,
Thanks for keeping us informed about Robin and her clinics. It is great to be able to observe and learn from yet another horsewoman who has been doing the waterhole rituals and following your philosophy successfully for so many years.
Perhaps some day I will be able to attend a clinic with you, or with Robin. It is something to work for.
I feel sad and kind of lost, with this course now at an end. You have been such a large part of my days for all these weeks.
But my horses are more calm, and there is more trust now, and they are my friends. This path that you have given me is filled with unexpected blessings.
The journey continues…..

Hi Carolyn,
I am lucky, as I live a mere 658 miles from Sebastopol, California, and I will be attending Robin’s Clinic as an auditor. Elmo and I enjoyed your WRIC class, and even though it is over this is no time for us to stop learning and improving.
I am hoping to be in your Advanced Class as we are on our way to bridleless riding, and you will guide us in this direction.
Thank you again for giving so much of yourself.
*Sigh…* wish I lived in California instead of the Netherlands… Then I would surely attend Robin’s clinic
! I notice that her clinic fee is very affordable, in contrast to the fee of the introductory clinic (by Julia Felton and Stina) here in the Netherlands next weekend, which is more than twice this amount… (which I really can’t afford). I wonder: isn’t there some kind of price standard for clinics given by your certified instructors Carolyn?
Almost forgot–if you want to read about Xcel, go to my web site: http://www.theexcellenthorse.com and click on “Reschooling the TB.” His story is out dated but it is entertaining–just like him!

Hi Carolyn, I just read your contact page and you said that to leave a comment is the best way to get in touch. So this is unrelated to this post but anyway. I just started a project which involves me living out in the field with our horse and pony for 4 full days, 24hrs a day. The idea is to learn more about them and to get insights into horse behaviour in general.
It is inspired by your own stories of living with the wild mustangs when you were growing up. We have no wild horses in Ireland but I can still live in our two girls world and learn something.
Already our horse, Hazel is following me around much more and I am doing absolutely nothing to encourage this. I am into the second day and it is wonderful. I am sleeping when they sleep and walking when they walk. I expect to learn a lot more over the next three days.
While I am at it I am fundraising for 4 equine rescues here in Ireland and in the US….at least that way I can’t decide to give up.
I hope it is ok to leave my blog details in case anyone wants to read about it. http://livinginthefield.wordpress.com/
thanks for all your wonderful stories, Maria
Carolyn,
I can’t come to this clinic but I am very interested in advanced liberty dancing with Xcel. Thank you so much for your instruction in the insider circle group. I will miss the group! Thank you Connie for moving the link to my video. I will be working on more videos and improving their quality in the future.
Exciting news for Xcel is that on Monday my vet and I are meeting with a guy who has developed a stem cell treatment which may help his troublesome left front foot. Hooray!

Hello,
I am still new at this blog but I am following it closely. This weekend I will attend the clinic in Holland and I would like to know what exactly the Insider Circle is and how I could be a part of it as I understand it is a group of students?
Thank you and I am very curious of what this clinic will bring me and my horses.

Carolyn, shelley dunkin WRIC, I can’t attend this clinic, but would like to attend your december clinic. it would be my 50th birthday present!!!
We are in California at the end of Sept. otherwise I would audit.
Dear Carolyn
I have been a student of your method since last October. It has been a wonderful experience for me and my Rocky Mountain horses. I and two of my dearest horse friends travelled to CA to attend Robin’s last clinic. There are no words to describe our experience. It was amazing and very inspirational. We made the trip all the way from Vancouver Island, B.C. I have all of the resource material you have made available to us so far. I’m eagerly looking forward to the time when your newest book will be available.
Sincerely and will much gratitude for the gift you and Robin have shared,
Sandy McMahon
Sounds exciting. I hope a video version will be available at some point for those of us who can only “wish” to attend. I love watching Robin playing and dancing with horses on her You Tube videos. Love Leanna’s ringing positive endorsement – must confess to a bit of envy

Carolyn and devoted blog followers,
John and I attended Robin’s last clinic with our TB Murphy and we both highly recommend working with Robin and the value of her Clinics. Either with or without a horse you will learn and enjoy the experience. The facility is wonderful and Lisa is a wonderful host.
Meeting in person the people interested in working with Carolyn and Robin is like finding a family that you actually belong to, in this large vast sea different kinds of horse owners with motives that sometimes seems so foreign after working with Carolyn’s rituals. You will be surrounded with caring people who really are about improving the lives their horses while building the deeper side of the human/equine bond.
Robin puts in 1000 percent of her seemingly bottomless energy(You must see for yourself to fully understand what I am saying really!)… to each participant and for those auditing as well. It really isn’t an audit if you do not bring a horse because you are part of the workshop. Another unusual aspect was that several men were part of the clinic which is not always the case, so it is a good balance. If you travel from a good distance you will not be disapointed, in addition to an awesome clinic, you are in our beautiful area of the “Wine Country and not far from the gorgous CA coast.
I am not sure how this happened, but somehow Robin and Carolyn have in the past connected so deeply over horses that although they really are different people, we are not sure sometimes if they didn’t partially clone a piece each other. I have no way to explain what this really means until you see for yourself. You will see and experience first hand how each of the different horses respond in the clinic and how Caroyn’s rituals can influence or be applied to horses, always remembering that each is a one of a kind individual with unique needs and different responses. You will return home with much to digest and use to grow your own ability to build a deeper bond with your equine companions.
John and I give Robin and Lisa 5 stars for their clinic. We left with a much better understanding of what was lacking for our own horse as the gaps in the glue/bond with Murphy was revealed. John is appling what he learned to give Murphy what he needs to deepen their relationship, and I took home a clearer view of how to work with True and the rest of our wonderful little herd family.
Very Sincerely Leanna Kielian(Barry) and John Barry
(Carolyn of you see this message: Cancer check good so far, Bone density change not ok and my most awesome eldery Gt. Pyr Dog Yuri has been sick since I returned from Texas. Every day is a gift and so far he is hanging in there. Just catching up in innercircle calls and with True, thank you for your postive thoughts around the cancer checkup. Leanna)
Hi Carolyn
Oh if only I were closer to California I’d be there!
Also, it was wonderful speaking to you last evening on the last conference call. I plan to submit as you requested my Personal Journey through the Waterhole Rituals. I just need to do it in a condensed form.
Love & Blessings
Regina
