Hi. The story that I am going to share with you today is about a horse that you may have seen on some of my videos by the name of Panadero. He is an Andalusian Stallion and he is absolutely just the most expressive horse you could ever wish to meet.

Everyday that I went out to see him he would run up to me and we would play this game where we used to run along the fence of his paddock.

My gypsy pony Nickers likes to take a mouthful of water before she eats a peppermint. When I pass by her stall, she goes to her waterbucket and takes a drink, then puts her nose up to the stall window to ask for a peppermint. She has somehow communicated this to all of the other horses and now they do it too – even the new horse who has only been there for 2 months and cannot see her do this.
It’s like the hundredth monkey theory. In a field study on the island of Koshima, Japanese scientists recorded that monkeys under observation began to wash their sweet potatoes. The behavior gradually spread throughout the monkey colony and amazingly and unexplainedly to other colonies on different islands.
