Such a wonderful story with a lot of great lessons in it. It reminds me of an experience I had with my horse LB who was a very confirmed liberty horse that Carolyn helped me train. On day I had him turned out in a large arena, someone had left one of the gates unlatched and he pushed on it and went on a joy run. Instead of chasing after him I picked up my longe whip and cracked it once and told him to get back over here. He ran back to me and I companion walked him back into the arena. To this day Carolyn will tell you that LB was one one the toughest horses she has encountered but he sure bought into the liberty concept. I could even worm him with the paste wormer in a syringe without a halter on.

Lovely Story,
So great to learn from. I made me 'look back' on lots of teachings from Carolyn. I was a bit puzzled though re the circling the front and as Maureen pointed out the saliva going. Have I missed something ?

Thank you for sharing, Lynn.
