To create a deeper connection with your horse, put yourself in a state of happiness before you see your horse. It will help you to discover yet another core strength within you. Your intentions to elevate your awareness will grow your magnetism. Growing your magnetism will draw your horse to follow your lead. It will cause your horse to trust in your leadership.
So how can we do this?
Start by putting your attention on the well being that is always there inside of you until it consumes your awareness fully. Become aware of how your body feels in the moment. Focus on the parts of your body that feel alive and well until your whole body feels alive.
If you have something that does not feel good inside you, this is not you. It is an external condition that has caused feelings of sadness or any negative feeling that pulls you down. Let it go on your exhaled breath. Imagine breathing in healing energy. Imagine breathing from the parts of your body that you are focused on and then feel the sensation. Notice the well being growing within you. Feel the connection to all things and a peace… Read more

Communicating with a horse is like a courtship.
Try treating a horse like you would like to be courted, and then your horse will show you how he would like to be approached, this way you will discover a working partnership from a co-creative evolution that will grow into an amazing cross species bond built on love, affection, parenting and respect. Companion walking is one of the rituals horse’s share with each other in the herd. It brings well being and a deeper bond and exercises the horse’s herding instincts. Companion walks are natural to us too when we are walking with a friend and sharing the same speed and rhythm. If we were sharing this with a friend, and we began walking a little slower, our friend would slow down. Or if we turned, the friend would go with us in the new direction. Shared rhythms when we want to be together are very nurturing. Once you have built the dance with my method using the Waterhole Rituals, halter breaking a horse is unnecessary. All you need to do is put a halter on the horse with a rope and ask for companion walking and the horse will stay with you. The next part is to teach three of the Uberstreichen Exercises and that is it! You will have a well-started horse in leading with a halter.
What to do when you loose the magnetic connection while companion walking:
A common thing that most people do when they have lost the magnetic connection with their horse during companion walking is… Read more

Hi Everyone
I had an email from a friend of mine Carol, who wanted to know what my new logo represents to me.
Whilst I am happy to give you my viewpoint on it, I think it is important to say that I feel my work with horses is so shared and universal that the logo represents whatever it represents to you. I am very happy if you resonate with my work and find whatever meaning you seek.
