Hi. I was asked the other day if I could sum up what my Method, DVDs and courses are all about and what makes me different to other horse trainers. So I sat down and tried to condense my philosophy into a few sentences, which wasn’t so easy! Anyway, please find below what I wrote, I hope it resonates with you.
Before we get to that though, I have a small survey it would be great if you could complete so as to give us some feedback. It’s very easy, just check one of the choices and click vote. Thank you.

Being in the horse industry as I have and a horse lover on my own personal journey, I have seen a lot of personal growth in people due to the impact that horses have played in their spiritual evolution. I have seen trainers grow and change from hardened individuals to philanthropists and students turn into masters. I have seen first hand the physical healing effect horses have on humans. All of these people that I have known over the years have horses to thank for their spiritual growth.
I feel that the biggest influence a horse has on me comes in the moment that I feel a connection between us as One – the Centaur Connection.
I have an overwhelming appreciation and gratitude for the friendship that arises in these moments, the Centaur Connection that comes from our training experiences together. This experience catapults me into an overwhelming awareness to all that surrounds me in nature and to the universe as a whole.

This is a picture of my horse Stoney, who I had since he was two months old. He is performing Levade, one of the Spanish Riding School movements that is trained with tack. I trained Stoney to perform Levade without tack, at liberty in a full-size arena. I was able to do this because of the bond of the friendship I shared with him. By working with Stoney at liberty, I did not make the mistake of teaching him when he did not want to listen. Because he was free to choose, Stoney was able to lead me to a true understanding of horses, horse training, communication and leadership. He taught me to look for the big “yes” that is inherent in all horses.
