Hello again. Today I want to talk to you a little about Robin Gates, who is a long time student of my Method and has a natural ability with both horses and humans alike. She is fun, uplifting and extremely knowlegeable on how to create a magnetic connection and keep it as you can see from this video.
Robin will be part of an intimate gathering that is taking place at Lisa Walters’ beautiful, private facility, EquuSatori Center, located in Sonoma County, approximately one hour north of San Francisco. To find out more, please click Robin Gates Clinic.
During this clinic Robin will be working with several different horses and their owners so you will be able to gain greater insights on how to work with the various needs and responses necessary for each situation. How to lead when the connection is strong and how to strengthen it when it is weak.
Often she brings one of her own horses too so you can witness what joy and willingness my Method creates. Like mine, Robin’s clinics are very open, interactive and focused on developing a magical connection with horses as well as addressing your personal questions and… Read more

Hello. Here is an exciting YouTube clip from Robin Gates, a certified coach in my Method and student over many years. I am sharing this clip because it shows the results of building a partnership from the ground using the Waterhole Rituals and how effective it is on Warmbloods to develop trust and a working bond.
In this clip, you can see that Paulo has developed a wonderful gas pedal and brake; a great connection with Robin and wonderful a work ethic in full focus and he has an undeniably enthusiastic nature. His ears are not back and he is relaxed and forward. The connection that Robin gained with the Waterhole Rituals translates to the saddle with the same integrity.

Last Friday I told the story of how my long-time friend and Certified Trainer, Robin Gates, overcame resistance with a horse she was training. I asked for your thoughts on the matter and thank you to those of you who offered your opinions in response.
This kind of feedback is so valuable for everyone who reads the blog as we all get a different perspective on the subject in hand, which maybe causes us to rethink our own conclusions. So thank you again.
For what it’s worth then, here is my opinion on how Robin viewed and dealt with the situation.

Last Friday, I mentioned a story concerning my long-time friend and one of my Certified Trainers, Robin Gates. Before we get on that, I would encourage you to check out the video of Robin working with her horses that will be coming up on the new Training Page on my blog next week. Robin really has a wonderful connection with the horses, it’s wonderful to watch. By the way, did you like her poem last week?
OK, the story I’m about to share with you will be practical information for those of you who really know how to use the Waterhole Rituals and who have trained a few horses with them. For those of you that haven’t, let it be “food for thought” for the future as you grow as horsemen and women. I want people to think about what is going on in their horse’s mind. No one should try the strategy I am going to share with you unless they are expert trainers with my Method or can see how it would work perfectly with the horse they plan to use it on.

Well, it’s nearly the weekend, so I thought it would be nice to have some more photo’s and thanks to everyone for sending them in.
I will be telling you next week about a story concerning Robin Gates, a student of mine for over 25 years and a close friend. After Robin told me this story about a particular mare, we had a good laugh and cry. Robin later told me that she did not sleep that night and wrote this poem.
