The Fall and Winter Program
Nov 13th, 2008 by Carolyn Resnick Method
Hi. Today I like to tell you some more about the amazing journey we have been travelling in my Fall and Winter Program.
The curriculum is designed to prepare the mind to step aside and let go of the need to make sense of anything and to return to the child mind and become truly present.
In general, humans have lost their ability to be present in the moment whereas horses are naturally present and because of this gap, a working bond cannot spring forth. By taking the time to become truly present to the moment is one of the many ways horses can elevate the human spirit. Once this present-ness is obtained, natural skills of connection with horses spring forth and the Rituals seem natural and easily understood. When this happens I then provide the class with all the Rituals and how to use them to develop a working bond.

Dear Carolyn,
I have often been referred to as “that crazy woman who thinks these animals have feelings for humans”, to be introduced by a great friend to your writings & beliefs was a refreshing experience. I only wish it would be possible for me to come to your classes in person. What a blessing if you would give teleseminars! yes yes yes!!
Thank you & God Bless,
Francine, Indiana
Hi Carolyn:
For those of us who are too far away to attend your classes, a teleseminar is a great idea. I am truly looking forward to hearing first hand about your experiences and getting more ideas about how to communicate more effectively with our equine friends.
Keep up the great work!
Karen Farrell, Long Island
Dear Carolyn,
I think, I’ll have to print out a lot of your posts and high-light sentences. Sometimes I look over my shoulder to see if you’re standig there ! Somehow you always seem to pinpoint things that Im working on.
I love the idea of teleseminars, such a great idea for reaching the longdistance ‘students’ like me and many others.
Would very much like to participate.
Re ‘Way of the horse-meditations’, you mention journals. If you let me know how it works, I would love to learn more and if you want me to write some experiences, I will do my best to put them into words.
Re todays post I caught myself in reaching out for the highlighting pen
Kammie, thanks alot for sharing. Until recently I didnt know about the Amish’ way of having animals, but I saw a documentary not long ago. Very sad. Your horse is lucky to have you.
Best wishes

I am feeling left out, on some level you must have sensed it! I have recieved your blog for a few months now and would love an opportunity for a greater connection to the joy and wisdom you are promoting with horses. Still need to purchase the waterhole rituals and will as a gift to myself for christmas.
Hi Carolyn,
The teleseminars sound wonderful! You have so many fans who live so far away, I’m sure they’d be successful. I also want to thank you for reminding me to be present in the moment without an agenda. I know I’m a little slow reaching that state, but I’m on the right path.
Hi. I would be interested in the teleseminars, for sure.
I would love to participate in the teleseminars, that is a wonderful idea!… I wish I was closer so I could go the classes…
. Please let us know when they’ll start.
I would also be interested in your teleseminar! Darynne, Los Angeles
I am very interested in the teleseminars. Please do them. Also I wanted to share a success with you. Your post on the lady who had the stallion who was afraid to cross the bridge after the stork flew out from under it gave me this idea and it worked. I take my standard breed Elmer to the chiropractor once a month. He was an Amish horse until 2 years ago and was woked hard. He is an amazing kid horse and takes great care of me too. About 4 months ago on a very rainy day on my way to the vet the center gate in my trailer broke loose and closed on him while I was driving. I had no idea as it was raining and I have a diesel truck. It must have really slammed as I had to get help to open it. After that incident he hasn’t wanted to get in the trailer willingly. So each time I take him I talk to him and say I fixed it, but still have trouble loading him. Today we were getting ready to go and I walked him up to the trailer and talked to him again, but also showed him that I had put a chain on the gate and it couldn’t move. He loaded and off we went. After his treatment he didn’t even stop to hesitate, he just walked into the trailer. Talking and showing and not just talking made all the difference. Thanks so much for the idea.
Hi Carolyn!
What a fantastic journey! I would very much be interested in participating in a Teleseminar. Especially since I live in SW Florida!
Please keep us posted with the details!
