Hello and welcome to my blog and online classroom.

If you don’t know my story, let me tell you a little about myself.

I grew life up in Indio, California in the 1940s. I am not sure what it was about horses that first struck me but it was an immediate attraction that first took place for me as a small child. One day at home, I heard hoofbeats. “What is that sound?” I asked.

My mother lifted me up to a window and told me, “It is the sound of the horses’ hooves on the street.” “Horses!” I repeated over and over again. I tried to reach with my arms to be closer. And that is the way it has been from that day forward.

I started riding at the age of 2 and started my first training center in our small town at the age of 10, where I was known as “the girls who talks to horses”.

My website is a place where you can learn and share and I invite you to use the comments sections beneath the articles on my blog to share your stories about your experiences with horses and what’s worked for you as well as to ask me questions. However, please don’t voice your opinions on rights or wrongs, let’s just share and have fun. Is that OK with you?
